These Terms of Use govern access to and use of FinFriend unless a more specific signed agreement controls for a particular customer relationship.
Service positioning and document hierarchy
FinFriend is positioned as a financial wellness and money-management product scope. It may help users organize information, understand financial patterns, or work with planning-oriented features.
If a signed commercial document, employer arrangement, or partner agreement applies to a specific deployment of FinFriend, that more specific document controls over this page to the extent of any conflict.
FinFriend is not described on this public page as a bank, broker, investment adviser, fiduciary, tax adviser, legal adviser, or guarantor of financial outcomes. Users remain responsible for their decisions and should obtain regulated or professional advice when the situation requires it.
Eligibility, accounts, and access security
Users must keep credentials secure, provide reasonably accurate information, and use FinFriend only for lawful and authorized purposes. If an organization provides the service to a workforce or customer base, that organization remains responsible for the user access it administers.
FinFriend may restrict or review access where BrasMedia reasonably believes credentials are compromised, account authority is unclear, or the service is being used in a way that threatens users, BrasMedia, or third parties.
External data, user inputs, and output limits
Where FinFriend supports imported data, manually entered information, or integration-assisted financial context, the user remains responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data supplied. FinFriend outputs depend in part on the quality and completeness of the information received.
Users should not treat a planning view, score, suggestion, or categorization outcome as a substitute for professional judgment where regulated or high-consequence decisions are involved.
Prohibited use
FinFriend may not be used to:
- misrepresent a financial position or fabricate records;
- bypass security, abuse integrations, or interfere with service integrity;
- use the product as a substitute for required professional advice where such advice is legally or practically necessary;
- engage in unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent activity.
Paid features and commercial limits
If FinFriend includes paid tiers, sponsored access, employer-funded access, or customer-specific packaging, the applicable commercial instrument or purchase flow controls pricing, payment timing, refunds, and renewal mechanics. Public documentation alone does not create a universal refund policy or service-level commitment.
Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated where necessary because of misuse, security risk, unpaid obligations, or legal requirements. Data handling after account closure is addressed in the FinFriend Data Lifecycle Notice.
Intellectual property and feedback
FinFriend, its documentation, interface design, branding, and underlying software remain protected by intellectual property law and any applicable license or commercial rights granted by BrasMedia.
If a user submits feedback or improvement ideas about FinFriend, BrasMedia may use that feedback to improve the service without owing a separate fee unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FinFriend is provided on an “as available” basis and does not guarantee financial outcomes, investment performance, debt reduction, or budget accuracy in every context. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that rule and to any signed commercial agreement, BrasMedia expects indirect, incidental, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages to be excluded, and any aggregate direct liability to remain limited to a commercially reasonable amount connected to the affected relationship.
Updates
BrasMedia may update these Terms when FinFriend’s product scope, legal posture, or publishing structure materially changes. The version and last-updated date identify the current public revision.
