This notice explains the privacy logic specific to BrasMedia TV. It should be read together with the BrasMedia Global Privacy Notice and, where relevant, the broader BrasMedia Privacy Notice.
What this notice covers
This document addresses app-specific data categories, purposes, sharing logic, local device state, retention posture, and request-routing expectations relevant to BrasMedia TV.
Data categories relevant to the app
Depending on app version, deployment mode, and customer configuration, BrasMedia TV may process:
- device and app identifiers, such as installation identifiers, paired workspace references, player names, deployment labels, and version information;
- playback and operational records, such as current content state, schedule synchronization events, connectivity status, cache state, screen health indicators, or event logs;
- authentication and control records, such as pairing actions, sign-in state, remote management commands, administrator actions, or security-relevant failures;
- crash, diagnostics, and support records that help BrasMedia identify bugs, app instability, or deployment issues;
- limited local storage needed to cache approved assets, preserve playback continuity, or remember device configuration.
BrasMedia may receive this information from the device itself, from a paired workspace, from support interactions, or from managed deployment tools authorized by the customer.
Why BrasMedia TV uses this information
Relevant data may be used to:
- authenticate and provision devices;
- deliver and coordinate approved playback content;
- maintain app health, screen continuity, and incident response;
- secure the app, prevent misuse, and investigate failures;
- support customer troubleshooting, deployment review, and product improvement;
- satisfy contractual, legal, accounting, or abuse-prevention obligations.
Permissions, local storage, and customer choice
BrasMedia TV may use local storage, cache, notifications, startup-related capabilities, or other Android features that are proportionate to the playback and device-management workflow being run. For a user-facing explanation of typical Android access categories, see the BrasMedia TV (App) Permissions Disclosure.
Customers remain responsible for deciding whether BrasMedia TV should be deployed on unmanaged consumer devices, managed enterprise devices, kiosks, or other controlled hardware environments.
Managed-device and organizational context
BrasMedia TV is commonly used in business or institutional contexts. Where a customer administers the app on behalf of a store, branch, franchise, employer, or managed display estate, that customer remains responsible for device assignment decisions, workforce notice where required, and the deployment instructions it issues through BrasMedia.
Sharing and service providers
BrasMedia may rely on infrastructure, communications, monitoring, crash-analysis, support, or managed-deployment providers to operate BrasMedia TV. Relevant data may also be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, or support an authorized customer relationship.
This page does not authorize the sale of identifiable device or account telemetry for unrelated third-party marketing use. If the app ever introduces a materially different data-sharing or monetization model, BrasMedia expects that change to be documented explicitly.
Retention, unlinking, and deletion
Retention depends on the type of record and the relationship involved. Device unlinking, workspace removal, uninstall expectations, and technically retained copies are addressed in the BrasMedia TV (App) Account Deletion Guidance and the BrasMedia TV (App) Data Lifecycle Notice.
Removing the app from a device may clear local cache over time, but it does not by itself guarantee immediate deletion of server-side operational records, backups, or support history.
Requests and updates
To make a privacy or deletion request related to BrasMedia TV, use Contact and Privacy Requests and identify the app, workspace, and affected device context as clearly as possible.
BrasMedia may update this notice when app features, data flows, Android deployment assumptions, or legal publishing practices materially change. The version and last-updated date identify the current public revision.
