These Terms govern installation, access, and use of the BrasMedia TV Android app unless a more specific signed agreement controls for the relevant customer relationship.
Relationship to the BrasMedia service
BrasMedia TV is an app-level product surface within the BrasMedia ecosystem. It is generally used together with BrasMedia-managed workspaces, publication flows, playlists, and device deployment policies.
If a signed order form, master agreement, enterprise deployment appendix, or reseller arrangement applies to a particular customer, that more specific document controls over this page to the extent of any conflict.
Intended use and deployment model
BrasMedia TV is intended for authorized playback and screen-management workflows on customer-managed Android devices, kiosks, TVs, media players, or other compatible endpoints.
The app is not described here as an emergency broadcast system, a guaranteed life-safety channel, or a substitute for customer-side device maintenance, local compliance checks, or network resilience planning.
Accounts, pairing, and device authority
Customers remain responsible for deciding which devices are authorized to connect to BrasMedia TV, how device pairing is managed, and which administrators or operators can issue publication or device instructions.
Users may not pair devices, reuse activation flows, or authenticate screens in contexts where they lack authority to manage the device, the workspace, or the displayed content.
Customer content and screen responsibility
Customers remain responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, audience appropriateness, and rights clearance of all content delivered through BrasMedia TV, including media files, internal notices, promotional material, workplace communications, and public-facing messages.
If the app is deployed in customer-facing or workforce-facing environments, the customer remains responsible for deciding whether separate notices, accessibility accommodations, labor communications, or sector-specific disclosures are required for the relevant screen context.
Platform rules and app-store distribution
If BrasMedia TV is distributed through Google Play or another managed application channel, the relevant store rules, device-management policies, and platform requirements also apply. Nothing on this page overrides those platform requirements.
Store operators or device-management providers may require updates, remove the app, or limit certain capabilities under their own policies. BrasMedia may also update, suspend, or discontinue the app where legal, security, or platform constraints require that response.
Prohibited use
BrasMedia TV may not be used to:
- access or activate devices without authorization;
- display unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or rights-violating content;
- disguise malware, phishing, credential theft, or unauthorized surveillance as customer signage or media playback;
- interfere with the integrity of the app, connected workspaces, update channels, or managed-device controls;
- circumvent platform restrictions, billing controls, account limits, or deployment safeguards in bad faith.
Additional conduct rules appear in the BrasMedia TV (App) Acceptable Use Policy.
Commercial relationship and billing context
Commercial terms for subscriptions, device counts, billing channels, refunds, or pilots are addressed in the BrasMedia TV (App) Commercial Terms Overview. A public page does not replace a signed commercial document or a platform-specific purchase flow.
Suspension, termination, and app changes
BrasMedia may restrict, unpair, suspend, or terminate app access where reasonably necessary because of misuse, security risk, non-payment, platform restrictions, or legal obligations. BrasMedia may also update the app, retire features, change compatibility assumptions, or modify playback and device behavior as the product evolves.
Uninstalling the app or removing a device from a workspace does not automatically erase all server-side logs, support records, or technically retained copies. Those topics are addressed in the BrasMedia TV (App) Account Deletion Guidance and the BrasMedia TV (App) Data Lifecycle Notice.
Intellectual property and app license baseline
BrasMedia TV, its interface, its branding, and the software made available through the app remain protected by intellectual property law and any applicable contractual rights granted by BrasMedia.
The app-license framework and software-use restrictions are described further in the BrasMedia TV (App) End User License Notice.
Disclaimers and high-risk use limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law and except where a signed agreement states otherwise, BrasMedia TV is provided on an “as available” basis. App behavior can depend on device state, Android version, customer configuration, network quality, local storage conditions, and managed-device controls outside BrasMedia’s direct control.
BrasMedia TV should not be treated as the sole mechanism for emergency messaging, statutory notice delivery, or other high-risk communication without a customer-specific agreement that expressly supports that use.
Updates
BrasMedia may update these Terms when the app’s legal posture, distribution model, or deployment assumptions materially change. The version and last-updated date identify the current public revision.
